Our company is solely equipped to meet every need in the field of insulation and waterproofing materials.
We achieve stable product supply and installation work quality while working to creating differentiation through our business model.
Our company has sales bases, logistics warehouses, and urethane recycling plants throughout Japan, including in Hokkaido in the north and Okinawa in the south. We work to ensure the stable supply of urethane raw materials, which can be susceptible to regional business activities and market conditions.
In the installation of sprayed rigid urethane foam, large volumes of urethane remnants are generated. Our company collects remnants from construction sites nationwide and converts them into our AQUA BLOW product, an insulating material laid primarily behind ceilings.
Our spray application-based thermal insulation and our quality control structure have been recognized under the certification system for excellent on-site insulation installation work* by the Institute for Built Environment and Carbon Neutral for SDGs (IBECs).
* This certification system aims to enhance the reliability of sprayed and blown insulating materials through the proliferation of proper installation work management among contractors with required capabilities, and the external display of these qualifications.
In addition to securing global procurement routes beyond North America and Asia, we are developing a structure that enables agile raw material procurement through urethane raw materials stock points established around the country.
AQUA FOAM, a cornerstone of our business, is an insulating material that is foamed on site using water instead of freon gas, which has a powerful greenhouse gas effect. It is a rigid urethane foam material that is friendly to both people and the earth, foamed by mixing water-containing polyols and isocyanate to create carbon dioxide gas as a foaming agent.
To achieve stable growth, it is vital that our company further strengthens and ensures our installation work capabilities. Placing the enhancement of our construction work staff as a top priority, we are advancing work style reforms and are implementing a full five-day workweek system, job postings through social media, wage increases in line with expanded allowances including those for metropolitan areas and childcare support, and other steps aimed at active recruitment.
As we pursue innovation in the three fields of single-family homes, architecture, and waterproofing, we will work toward continuous business expansion through growth in the waterproofing sector and strengthened raw material development.
Our company has grown by bringing innovative products to the market in three areas: the single-family homes sector (insulation installation in single-family homes), the architectural sector (insulation installation in buildings), and the waterproofing sector (waterproofing work). Little time has passed since our entry into the waterproofing market, but we will continue pursuing it among the three pillars of business that we are constructing. We will also make efforts in the development of raw materials for urethane insulation and will aim to further expand our business domains by strengthening our position as a development and manufacturing company.
The Japanese government's policy aimed at carbon neutrality by 2050 demands enhancements to the energy efficiency of housing. The performance of insulation is evaluated on a seven-point scale under standards from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Our AQUA FOAM Series sprayed rigid urethane foam meets these standards through outstanding insulation performance offered. Measures for energy-conserving housing advanced by local governments also emphasize airtightness performance, which we expect will boost demand for our products.
The movement toward carbon neutrality is also progressing in buildings. Demand for insulation is growing under redevelopment in Japan's three major metropolitan areas and increasing regional investment in semiconductor plants. Strict temperature control is a particular requirement in semiconductor plants, and flame resistant insulating materials are growing in importance. We expect strong demand for AQUA MOEN NEO due to its high flame resistance performance.
Demand is growing for waterproofing to cope with abnormal weather, increasing heavy rains, and the aging of buildings constructed during Japan's bubble economy. Amid the need for careful renovation work in buildings that use materials containing asbestos, our AQUA HAJIKUN offers an ideal solution with its rapid hardening, high water resistance, and expansibility. We have built up a record of achievements that encompass the factories of leading Japanese companies, and aim to quickly make this product profitable.
